5 Tips to Networking at Events – Austin City Tour with Liketoknow.it

Happy Wednesday everyone! Last week I attended the Austin City Tour for Liketoknow.it and I wore this fun and flirty romper for under $50 at the event. It was such a fun and cute event at the beautiful venue Matties in Austin. If you’ve never been, it’s absolutely beautiful, and they have peacocks roaming freely on the grounds. But the best part about the event was meeting all the wonderful influencers of Liketoknow.it. It was such a great opportunity to finally meet these women who we’ve supported each other and followed through our blogs and social media. I think one of the most important things you can do as a business owner is grow your network and meet new people who could potentially be business partners, supporters, or even clients. Gosh this weekend went by so fast, and this week will go by even faster. It is a busy week for this momma! I’ve got some exciting things coming up including prepping for a church fashion show, going to this fashion show, and then Saturday I have my annual blogger fundraiser benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network at Kendra Scott. TGIF everyone! I can’t believe I survived three days of potty training. Seriously so mentally exhausting being stuck in your home for three days just watching your kiddo like a ticking time bomb. The Best Off the Shoulder Dresses for under $50

Who is ready for the weekend? I know I am! I can’t wait to spend some time at the beach with my family this weekend. This past week I’ve been hooked on a new series on Netflix, Switched at Birth. I found myself one night up till 4 am in the morning watching the series instead of blogging, or even better yet I should be sleeping lol. This weekend I’ve rounded up some of my favorite off the shoulder dresses, including the one below for under $50! I found this one last year online and it has been one of my favorite off the shoulder dresses. I get tons of compliments on it every time I wear it. I wore it the first time for family pictures in this post last fall, and I love how it transitions so well for summer! How to Rock Denim Short Overalls in the Summer

This weekend I’m looking forward to our annual family trip to Dallas to visit family and support the Texas Rangers. Since Josh’s Uncle got named the manager of the Ranger’s last year, we have become the biggest Texas Rangers fan in Houston. (P.S. We love the Astros too!) We are so excited to visit our family up there and take Jayden to watch the games. He went to his very first baseball game when he was 3 months old last year for opening day for the Rangers. One perk about this weekend, due to some amazing blogging opportunities, my hubby, our little guy, and I will be staying the weekend at the Hilton in Arlington, literally minutes from Globe Life Park.
