Hey guys, sorry I have been a little M.IA. this week. It’s been a busy week with Jayden starting his first week of MDO, and I have been busy working on two major collaborations coming up next week. If you are following my Snapchat you might have gotten a sneak peak into my office collaboration. Stay tuned for my office space reveal next week. But back to a little flash back Friday. Last week little man, and I attended my blogger babe, Style the Girl’,s first blogger event with Wink By Erika at the Bevello. It was a fun and very sweet and stylish event. We had so much fun mingling with other Houston Bloggers, and the sweets were amazing! Jayden and I could’t get enough! For the event I wore this fall inspired outfit with my favorite thigh high boots which I also wore in this previous post, and this adorable corduroy mini skirt I bought for less than $10! Check out my full outfit details below: Continue reading “Flashback Friday: Mock Necks and Mini Skirts”

Can you believe it summer is almost over and it’s another school year is starting? This weekend has been a blur, spending it with my family from out-of-town. In addition, my aunt and cousins  are relocating from Oklahoma to Houston and finally found a home only 10 minutes away from my parent’s. We are so excited to have more family down here, and we cannot wait for the holidays. Because when Filipino’s get together, they do it big. Plus, the food is amazing! Furthermore, my hubby and I went for a movie date night this past week, and I wore this outfit below. I never thought I would say it but I am loving the bodysuit and choker trend. My hubby thinks it’s pretty sexy too lol.;) Therefore, being inspired my outfit, here are five transitional trends to bring into fall and my full outfit details below!

2 Ways to Wear Pattern Mixing

DSC09368

Who says you can’t pattern mix when it comes to fashion? I am probably the biggest perpetrator when it comes to mixing pattern. I love Aztec prints and though most people like to pair it with solid colors, I loved how it coordinated perfectly with this black and white striped dress. Black and White with a Flare

Lately with all this rain, I’ve appreciated the need for fashion hats for the Fall. I’m a big fan for floppy hats and this has been one that has transitioned from summer to fall with me. As a mom, sometimes doing my hair is a luxury, and those days I can’t I love just throwing on a nice pair of jeans, a soft tee, and a hat. Continue reading “Black and White with a Flare”

5 Fun Fall Things To Do with the Family in Houston

IMG_2307

This past weekend my family and I took Jayden out to Froberg’s Farm in Alvin for a little pumpkin patch fun. It was inexpensive, local, and tons of fun for the kiddos. We lucked out because the weather was perfect when we went down there. We were able to go through the corn maze, walk around the farm, and take tons of pictures without sweating or getting over heated. I love this time of year because it is the best weather in Texas to be outside, and you get to layer it cute fall outfits! Below is my list of my top 5 Fall things to do with family in Houston.

Motherhood from Every Angle and My Mommy Uniform

DSC05716

This past week I was featured in a series called “Motherhood From Every Angle,” from one of my fellow mommas and an amazing lifestyle blogger Beauty and the Binky. I loved being part of these series and being part of a great group of mothers who share their stories and experiences as a mom. Some times we can all be caught up in the right and wrongs of parenting that we realize there is no such thing as right and wrong. Ever child, every mom, every family is different, but there is one thing that stays the same and that is the love and pride they have for their child. Here is an excerpt of the introductory part of the interview:

Good Vibes

DSC04075
This past month I’ve been really busy lately launching my own photography business. Like the blogging world and anything new you venture out to, there’s always a learning curve and making mistakes is just part of the learning process. I’ve been lucky enough to have met some amazing people who have helped me grow and develop in the photography world. It’s not as easy as it looks and there is always so much to learn in photography. Having a great support system in this industry always helps you stay positives when you have your ups and downs.
