If you don’t know what a sprinkle is, it is basically a smaller intimate baby shower for a mom who is expecting her second or third child. I am back from NYFW. It was a short three day trip and totally worth it. I was able to visit some of my favorite PR companies and brands and get to see some amazing runway shows. This was my third NYFW and my first going in February. Thankfully we were at the Sheraton Tribeca which was less than a five minute walk to the shows and Soho, so we didn’t have to face the cold winds for too long. Today I am sharing a quick little recap plus sharing what I packed in my carryon to NYFW. Everyone including myself was impressed that I packed five outfits for three days in one carryon. And on top of that I did it literally six hours before my flight. One of the reasons why I wanted to just take a carryon was because I had a meeting I had to be at right after I got off the plane, and I didn’t want to wait for my checked in bag. It was definitely hard to train during the holidays and in the winter when it’s so cold. I honestly feel like it is important to share my thoughts because it is a subject that is kept under the radar. Like plastic surgery, some people do not want to be open to sharing what they have or have not done. But as an influencer I feel it is important to share so you are educated, empowered on the subject, but also so don’t have this unrealistic perception of beauty. I’m thirty and also a mom and as I get older I am open to try new things to keep looking younger longer. But let’s face it, botox can get expensive. Botox can cost hundreds of dollars and can get expensive if you continuously do it. So is it worth it? Hope you are having a great week! This past weekend we celebrated our little guy’s fourth birthday with the family. I can’t believe how much he has grown! Check out Jayden’s birth story and first birthday. Last week we had such a blast on our family trip to Colorado. I hope ya’ll had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year. We celebrated with our traditional Filipino New Years dinner at my parents house. 2018 has been an amazing year and it’s crazy to look back and see everything we have done and accomplished. As a family we have been more intentional in giving our life to the Lord and having full faith in what he has in store in our life. This year has had its shares of ups and downs. I’ve been to more funerals this year than I have last, and of love ones who have passed way sooner than we have imagined. Life has a way of really putting things in perspective for you and making you realize that the time we have here is precious. Each moment we have to make count. God has truly blessed us this year, and each memory we made this year we are truly thankful.
