Hope you are doing well and enjoying your Memorial Day! This past weekend we has a little graduation party/Memorial Day get together with family. Since Jayden didn’t have a proper graduation we decided to just have a little one at our home with our family. We love hosting our family at our home. We had a Mother’s Day brunch a couple weeks back (view post here) and we were excited to have another backyard shindig with our family for Memorial Day weekend. Drugstore Magnetic Lashes – Do They Live Up to the Hype?

Hope you are doing well! Today I wanted to share my complete review on drugstore magnetic lashes. Since quarantine I haven’t been able to get my lash extensions, and after a request from a friend, I thought I would try out magnetic lashes. I purchased both the Ardell and Eyelure magnetic lash kit and have been wearing them these past month. My Quarantine Birthday – Turning 32

Hope you are doing well! This past week I celebrated my quarantine birthday and turned thirty two. It wasn’t the birthday I planned but definitely a blessing in disguised. We had big plans for my birthday, a family trip and a couples trip plan this month that we had to cancel due to the Coronavirus. Since I’ve started this blog I’ve always written a post to reflect the past year and to share my thoughts of turning a year older. Athleisure Outfit Ideas For Summer

Hope you are doing well! Today I am sharing my favorite athleisure outfits I’ve been wearing during quarantine. These outfits are perfect for summer with their fun, bright, and vibrant colors. When people ask me what is athleisure, I always explain it as outfits that look like you are working out but comfy enough to just lounge around in. I wouldn’t run five miles in these outfits but I could definitely do a fun quick 30 minute workout and yet still look cute to go through a drive thru or run errands. It’s dressing up for staying home home because some days you just want to get out of your pj’s. Not that it’s a bad thing to be in your pj’s all day, because trust me I’ve had those days during quarantine! CHINA HUTCH Makeover DIY

Hope you are doing well! Today I am sharing a fun home project we did during quarantine, our china hutch makeover DIY. My dad pasted down to me his grandma’s old china hutch for my dining room. I’ve always loved the quality of antiques and older furniture especially when they have family history. This beautiful hutch has been in the family for over three generations and was still in great condition. I had been on a hunt for a year now for a china hutch that also doubled as a buffet/server for my dining room. When my dad showed me this beautiful piece that had been stowed in the garage for years now, I knew this was the one. It was a little outdated and didn’t fit my overall interior decor, so I decided to give it a little makeover. Check out our china hutch makeover DIY below!

Hope you are doing well! So much has happened in the past couple weeks. With the coronavirus spreading, a lot has changed in our social life. Jayden is out of school for a month, things have closed down, travel plans postponed, and we have been doing our part to practice social distancing. As crazy as it’s been I’m just thankful to have my family together through it all. With Jayden being out of school, we’ve really been taking it easy and taking it day by day.
