Turning Three – Family Goals 2018

Hey everyone!

Sorry I missed Wednesday’s post. With the snow day we had, and some really exciting news I had, it through me off schedule. But today is a special day because our little man turns three today! I cannot believe how time flies when you have kids. I just can’t believe how big Jayden is getting. This past year he has done tumbling, soccer, snowboarding, and currently in swimming, and next month he will start t-ball! This year will definitely be an active one for our little guy. He has so much energy, and he is such a team player. I am one proud momma to see my little guy grow up to be such a smart and sweet little boy. He amazes me everyday with everything he does, and he certainly pushes us to be the best parents we can be. This past month my husband and I went over some family goals we had for this New Year, and today on the blog I am sharing those goals with you plus our beautiful family pictures in Colorado! Winter Essentials for Your Next Snow Trip

Happy Friday everyone!

Last week I did a Q&A on Instastories about what to bring when going skiing or snowboarding or traveling in the mountains where it is below freezing and snow and ice everywhere. There are so many things I learned when it comes to staying warm, keeping your skin hydrated and from cracking in the higher and dryer altitudes, and the shoes you need from slipping and sliding off the mountains. Yep I fell a couple of times on my butt wearing the wrong kind of shoes. I definitely over packed and brought a lot of things I didn’t even wear, because lets face it when it’s below freezing, and you are running around tubing, snowboarding, and hiking, practicality comes first over fashion. A Look Back at 2017

Hey everyone!

Can you believe we are only a couple of days from the New Year. This is officially my last post of the year! Today I just wanted to round-up some of my favorite moments and some milestones I am very proud of with my blog. This year was a big one, and it was a year of first, from my first sponsored international trip, to my first trip to New York Fashion Week and getting to be a hair extra on E News with Marianna Hewitt! I was able to accomplish so many of my goals including doubling my Pinterest, and Instagram following, to reaching 10k views on one of my YouTube videos! I’ve also had the opportunity to work with a talent agent, partnered in some amazing events, and even tripled my blogging income! But most of all I was able to grow my brand, and grow my network by meeting so many amazing people along the way. I honestly couldn’t have done it without the support of everyone who has followed along on this journey. So thank you, thank you for being part of this journey with me and I hope you enjoy this recap of my blogging year in 2017.

Holiday Vacation Packing List + Sorel

Hotel Alessandra – Birthday Staycation

This past weekend we had the opportunity to spend the weekend at the newest luxury hotel in Houston, the Hotel Alessandra, for a little holiday staycation to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Did you know I never knew about staycations until I became a mom? Let’s face it, when you have kids it is hard to get away for long periods of time, especially finding someone to watch your child for longer than a weekend. But sometimes as parents you just need a weekend to getaway and recharge, and just focus on your other half. Staycations are perfect for those moments, whether it be for your anniversary, just because, or in our case a weekend away to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday. Today I am sharing all about our luxurious weekend at the Hotel Alessandra and the perfect outfit for a night out on the town.

Travel Essentials Gift Guide + $360 Lipault Paris Giveaway

Happy Monday everyone!

Pet Lover Gift Guide
