Hope you are having a great Thanksgiving week! Even though Christmas is just around the corner we already have our tree up and wearing our Christmas sweaters. I bought the cutest family Christmas sweaters this year all for under $35 at Walmart. It actually has been cold down here in Houston, so any excuse to get bundled up and cozy is a must! Plus how fun are these Christmas sweatshirts? Check them out below!
Jayden picked out this Santa Floss sweater. It fits his goofy personality perfectly! He is excited to wear it to school and show all of his friends! Me and Ella are matching with our Santa Baby sweatshirt. I actually bought this last year when I was pregnant with her, and now that she is here I wanted her to have her own coordinating Santa baby Christmas romper. Walmart had so many options for babies you can’t just get one! Check them out below!

I can’t get over Ella’s cute little leopard sweater and velvet turban. I have made her wear her little G-Stars non stop so she can get the most use out of it before she grows out of them. My dress is super comfy and the perfect fall gingham. I have this same pattern in a button down too! Can’t believe Halloween is just around the corner. Stay tune for our family costume reveal!

My First Mommy and Me Trip + San Antonio Travel Guide
FEATURED ON THIS POST:
Hey friends!
Hope ya’ll are having a great week! This week I went on my very first mommy and me trip with Jayden to San Antonio with two of my blogger friends and their kiddos. It was my first time traveling by myself with Jayden without my husband or my family. Honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better two day trip with Jayden and our friends because we had the best time. This momma felt like such a super mom after the trip because we made so many unforgettable memories that I will cherish with my little guy. Below I am sharing my travel guide on what we did, where we ate, and what we wore to San Antonio. Plus tips for traveling with toddlers. Read more below!

This event will also be benefiting Susan G. Komen which I am a big supporter of. Check out more details of the event and enter in the giveaway below! Plus I’m sharing this adorable mommy and me summer to fall transitional look with my little man!
Sorry I have been MIA this week on the blog. If you saw my Instastories earlier this week then you might have known I lost someone close to me this past week. It has been an emotional rollercoasters of highs and lows. Some big moments for my career, yet with everything that had happened I didn’t feel emotionally there to share with y’all my true gratitude. I decided I will share next week and allow myself some time to mourn. It is definitely a struggle when you share almost everything via social media and blog to separate the personal and professional. Out of the respect for the family I prefer to keep everything that has happened personal. But I want to thank for everyone who reached out, I really appreciate all your support. Today I thought I would just give ya’ll a quick update as well as share some of my favorite fall trends I look forward . Check them out below!

Banana Boat – 6 Summer Outdoor Activities for Toddlers
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Banana Boat®. The opinions and text are all mine.
Happy Friday everyone! Who is ready for the weekend? With summer only a couple of months away I’ve teamed up with Banana Boat ® to share my top five summer outdoor activities I like to do with my busy little toddler. When school is out, we always try to find ways to stay active and have fun so we aren’t cooped up inside all day. But I also know the importance of keeping my little guy protected from the sun’s harmful UV rays and that’s why I use Banana Boat® Kids Sport Sunscreen. Check out our top five summer outdoor activities below and why I choose Banana Boat® Kids Sport Sunscreen to protect my little one from the sun’s harmful rays.
Happy Friday everyone! This mama is excited for all the fun activities we have planned this weekend, but I think I am more excited for my alone time. Today I am getting a little personal with you, in my no judgement zone, about why this mama needs her weekends off. Sometimes I feel we have this perception that moms have to do it all, when the reality is not the case. We all struggle and we all need a little help and that’s why I am sharing my mom confession. Plus I had to share these adorable photos of my little guy. He is seriously a little goof ball just like his daddy. I can never keep a straight face around this boy. Ya’ll he is getting so big, and recently he keeps correcting me when I call him my baby. He says he’s my big boy! Uggh it breaks my heart a little when says that. Check out these photos and more of my post below!
It’s me, your number one fan. I have been since the day I found out I was having you, I knew there was nothing I wanted more than you. To see you grow, to see you flourish, to see you become the man God has destined you to be. I could only imagine when you were growing inside me, what you would look like, what your personality would be, and know that you are here you are more than I could have ever imagined. Is it so wrong for me to think you are the most perfect little being that God has ever created? I am so amazed by you, each and every day. I stare at you while you sleep and I thank God everyday for giving me such a blessing. You are my little angel in disguised, my saving grace. I owe so much of me and who I am now to you. I never knew I could be this strong, love so much, and be who I am today without you.
The Ugly Truth About Potty Training When You’ve Had Enough
So it’s been a month since Jayden has been diaper free and accident free at night. We have officially transitioned into underwear, no training pants, no pull ups for a month, and since last week no more baby potty. Jayden has full transitioned using the full size toilet at home and using public restrooms . We are so proud of our little man, especially since he has started swim lessons, no swim diapers either! But let me tell you. It has been quite a journey, probably one of the most stressful things I had to deal with since breast-feeding. We read the books, read tons of blog post on how to potty train, and let me tell you by saying yes they have great tips but they all tell you the same thing. Wait till he is ready, don’t force it. Really??? Yes that is all great if you have all the patience in the world, but if you are a mom like me, who hates changing poopie diapers, who is over trying to hold my active toddler down just to change his diaper, tired of spending so much money on diapers, carrying a diaper bag, and who is just plain over it, then this is for you. This is my story, and my ugly truth about potty training when you’ve had enough.
Three years I will be celebrating Mother’s Day as a mom, and every year it means so much more. I owe so much of who I am now to this little guy right here. I didn’t plan to be a mom, but God’s plans has a way of showing you how much more there is to life. My heart has never been bigger, my days never been happier, and I have never been stronger now that I am a mom. They say when you’re a boy mom you are always tired but your heart is always full, and to me every hour I miss sleeping is every hour I get to play with my little guy, laugh at all his shenanigans, and just watch him grow to the wonderful little guy that he is. There will always be a special bond that a mom and her little man will share. I am so thankful God made me a boy mom, because he has shown me strength, grace, and love more than I could ever imagine. Today I am sharing some fun truths about the life of being a boy mom.
