Yesterday I just got back from my vacation, and I can’t wait to share all the details. If you followed along on snapchat then you got the first look on how amazing the resort was. But now I am home with my family, and I wanted to share with you an effortless way to wear a tweed jacket. Since Chanel made it a classic, it is one thing that will never go out of style. Woo! What a busy weekend! I feel like I am still playing catch up from our last mini weekend vacation. I have so many collaborations coming up this month, it’s been hard to keep up! How to Dress up Boyfriend Jeans

What a busy week it has been. I’ve been a little behind on my post, but it’s because I’ve been distracted watching the Olympics. But hey, it only comes on every four years, and I can’t miss watching some of my favorite athletes perform. My top sports are swimming and gymnastics when it comes to the Olympic games, and lately I cannot get enough of Houston’s own Simone Biles. That girl is in a league of her own. It just amazes me to watch her routines. When I was a little girl I remember watching and dreaming one day of being in the Olympics for gymnastics, and though my time has come and gone for that dream, it still lives on for my future daughter. Lol I was so inspired I was doing cartwheels in my living room, and telling my hubby we need to have another kid soon so I can live vicariously through our future daughter. Hahaha I’m going to be one of those moms. I even looked up mommy and me tumbling classes me and Jayden can join next year. My little man is a little monkey and has non stop energy! Last weekend I attended a Pinterest workshop with the best Houston Bloggers at City Center. It was really informative, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to increase their traffic. Can you believe it’s June already? I can with this rising Texas heat. But that also means time to bring out our summer whites. I found this sexy tassel dress shopping at one of my new favorite online stores Asos. If you’ve never shopped there, they have the cutest and trendiest styles for a great price. And as a momma on a budget that is always a plus. This dress is the best combination of my two favorite summer trends: tassels and off the shoulder. You can’t beat that especially for the price! The Best Off the Shoulder Dresses for under $50

Who is ready for the weekend? I know I am! I can’t wait to spend some time at the beach with my family this weekend. This past week I’ve been hooked on a new series on Netflix, Switched at Birth. I found myself one night up till 4 am in the morning watching the series instead of blogging, or even better yet I should be sleeping lol. How to Rock Denim Short Overalls in the Summer

This weekend I’m looking forward to our annual family trip to Dallas to visit family and support the Texas Rangers. Since Josh’s Uncle got named the manager of the Ranger’s last year, we have become the biggest Texas Rangers fan in Houston. (P.S. We love the Astros too!) We are so excited to visit our family up there and take Jayden to watch the games. He went to his very first baseball game when he was 3 months old last year for opening day for the Rangers. One perk about this weekend, due to some amazing blogging opportunities, my hubby, our little guy, and I will be staying the weekend at the Hilton in Arlington, literally minutes from Globe Life Park.
