Our Summer At Splashway With Friends

This post was in partnership with Splashway. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Hi friends!

Hope you are doing well! Today I’m sharing a quick review and recap of our stay at Splashway this summer. A couple weeks ago we had the privilege to stay at Splashway with our mom friends and their kiddos for a fun summer vacation. It was honestly one of the most memorable mommy and me trip  with my little guy. From our cute cabins, to roasting marshmallows by the fire, to enjoying all the fun rides at the waterpark, nothing says family summer vacation like Splashway. Plus we even got to bring our dog too! I hate having to leave our dog when we go on trips so knowing that Splashway is pet friendly made it even more enjoyable. Rotel (our dog) was spoiled by all the kids and loved being center of attention. Check out more of our stay at Splashway, where we stayed, what we did below!

8 Snow Activities For Kids

Hi friends,

Hope you are having a great week! This past weekend we celebrated our little guy’s fourth birthday with the family. I can’t believe how much he has grown! Check out Jayden’s birth story and first birthday. Last week we had such a blast on our family trip to Colorado. Jayden loves the snow, and there wasn’t anything we didn’t do with the little guy when it came to snow activities. We even took him snowboarding again. And if you thought he was good last year, then you have to check out the video above and watch him shred the slopes by himself. I still can’t believe how talented he is. I had so many questions about him snowboarding and all the other activities Jayden was doing and so today I am sharing my top activities for kids for your next snow trip. Check them out below!

A Letter To My Son From Your #1 Fan

MOMMY AND ME, MOMMY AND SON, BOY MOM, LETTER TO MY SON, FAMILY BEACH PHOTOGRAPHY, FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY, FAMILY LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY, HIGH LOW MAXI DRESS, AGACI, OLD NAVY, BOY STYLE, TODDLER BOY STYLE, TASSLE EARRINGS

Dear Jayden,

It’s me, your number one fan. I have been since the day I found out I was having you, I knew there was nothing I wanted more than you. To see you grow, to see you flourish, to see you become the man God has destined you to be. I could only imagine when you were growing inside me, what you would look like, what your personality would be, and know that you are here you are more than I could have ever imagined. Is it so wrong for me to think you are the most perfect little being that God has ever created? I am so amazed by you, each and every day. I stare at you while you sleep and I thank God everyday for giving me such a blessing. You are my little angel in disguised, my saving grace. I owe so much of me and who I am now to you. I never knew I could be this strong, love so much, and be who I am today without you.

30A Travel Guide- Seaside, Rosemary, & Alys Beach

Hey guys so my the first of my travel videos and guide is up from our vacation. We visited three little beach towns Seaside, Rosemary, and Alys Beach, literally minutes from each other you could walk or bike from one town to the next. Each town had its own personality and vibe and if you are in the area I highly recommend to visit. It is a 9 hour drive from Houston, and the perfect vacation spot for families. This is our second time in the area because we absolutely love it, and I am sure we will be returning soon as it is one of our favorite vacation spots. Check out my 30A travel guide as I break down the top things to do at my favorite beach towns, where to stay, and places to eat. I also recommend watching the video as the pictures don’t do this trip justice! Plus you can see my boys making fart noises through video because of course boys will be boys right lol?

Happy 3 Year Anniversary!

Today marks our 3rd year anniversary. As I sit here righting this post in our little beach cottage, while the boys are peacefully sleeping, I realize more and more the blessings of marriage God has put in our lives. I couldn’t imagine my life without Josh, without our little man, and all the memories we have created together in these short years. I am so thankful God blessed me with a man like Josh. He is patient, he is kind, he is everything the scripture says when describing love.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Today since we are still on vacation I am sharing some never before seen pictures of our vacation to celebrate our life together. If you are new here on the blog make sure to read our love story here.

Family Vacation Packing List

MOMMY AND ME OUTFITS, MOMMY AND SON OUTFIT, POLO AND WHITE PANTS, WRAP DRESS

Tomorrow we officially head out for our family vacation! This cutie is excited because he is going to Disney World! We can’t be more thrilled to be able to take our son to Disney World for the first time. It is one of our many stops in Florida. We will also be heading to Seaside, Jensen Beach, Jupiter, West Palm Beach, Rosemary Beach, and Alys Beach and visiting all of our friends along the way. Five years ago I lived in Jensen Beach for two years and made some of my best friends out there. It is like a second home to me. The last time we visited I was 4 months pregnant with Jayden, and now that he is two it will be exciting to have him meet everyone for the first time. I’ve been preparing for this trip for over a month now, getting all the outfits ready for the hubs and little man. And as a mom on a budget I made sure to shop some deals at my favorite stores for my family. Below I’m sharing what we are packing for our trip and how you can shop on a budget too!

What a great way to celebrate a win

******************

This weekend we embarked on our first family vacation to see the Opening Day of the Texas Rangers. Not only was it Jayden’s first baseball game but it was his Uncle Jeff’s first Opening Day as the Manager of the Texas Rangers. Jayden finally got to meet some of his family near and far who came to support Jeff Banister on his big day. It was a wonderful family reunion, and our little man did great on his first vacation. I couldn’t help but snap shot all of Jayden’s cute baseball outfits he wore to the game, gifted to him by his wonderful family. He enjoyed every moment of it, getting smothered with kisses and spoiled with love. He even walked away with a souvenir Lego action figure of his Uncle from his Honey Do. How cool is that? I know he will appreciate it when he gets older.  Baseball runs in his blood and there was no better way to get introduced to the game than getting to share such a proud moment with family.
