We celebrated our eleven year wedding anniversary and to commemorate this special day we had our first professional family farm photoshoot taking in front of our home we custom built and moved into a year ago. I remember taking these photos five years ago when we first bought our dream farm and there was nothing on it but these beautiful oak trees.

Hope you are having a great week! Last Wednesday we celebrated our 9th anniversary and we also closed to build our new home. If you’ve been following for awhile then you might have remembered two years ago for our seventh anniversary we bought seven acres and sold our old house. A lot has happened in two years including adding two more kiddos to our family. The market has definitely not been favorable to home buyers or new home builder with inflation, high interest rates, cost of materials, ect.

There was some amazing memories we made, but not without some crazy almost life threatening ones that have made us appreciate those good memories even more. Today we celebrate our 8th Wedding anniversary and to commemorate that I wanted to share our first ever photoshoot as a family of four. There’s no greater gift of your love than the children that come from it. I am so thankful for our growing family and so thankful for the man I married to create it. I always say I don’t know how I can love my husband more every year, but every year my love grows with every year we are together.

This month marks our second anniversary since we first bought our current home. Hope you are having a great week! Today I’m finally sharing our master bedroom reveal!  I designed this bedroom to feel airy, welcoming, comfy, like a coastal hotel room that was easy to clean. We ripped out the carpet and added wood look tile to the room which made it so much easier to clean everyday, especially when you have pets that shed everyday. We also did a fun DIY to a thrift store dresser to create a fun colorful break to all the white and grey we have in our room.
