Since we moved into our rental we have been very frugal about decorating since it is only temporary and we have a much smaller space. I can’t believe it’s already September. I haven’t been on the blog these past couple of weeks because I’ve been working on the backend of my blog. Lots of technical things that I still don’t quite understand but hoping it’s making a difference in the load speed. Everyday for the last couple months I’ve gotten attempts of hackers trying to hack into my site so I’ve also worked in adding extra protection to my site and cleaning out any malware. Plus this site will soon be getting a makeover, which I am so excited to finally get done. So while that has been happening a lot has also happened in our life including Jayden starting first grade! It’s crazy to think that it’s a new school year. With a new school year we’ve also have some updates on current projects I’m working on plus house building updates. We love Round Top for girls trips because it is only an hour and half drive from Houston and it’s the perfect little town for shopping, eating, and feeling closer to God. Hope you are doing well! Today is the day the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 is open to the public. I have been shopping this sale for several years now and have found what is worth the splurge and also what will come back year after year so that you don’t have to go to crazy. This year my main focus was on shoes, hats, and comfy jackets and hats. Pieces I can wear year after year and get multiple uses out of. One reason I love the Nordstrom sale is the quality of the pieces that go on sale. I’ve had several pieces for years including their shoes and it still looks brand new. Hope you are having a great week! Summer is here and Spring baseball season is officially over for the little guy. Watching him play for the past three years has honestly been awe inspiring to see him develop his skills and love for the sport. I still remember the day when he started walking and would carry a bat around with him like Bam Bam in the Flintstones. Jayden has always loved baseball from his very first game at three months old to now playing in little league. I never thought I would be a baseball mom, but here I am cheering my little guy on and I love it.
