Last weekend my family and I stopped by Magnolia Market in Waco on our way to Dallas. This was the third time I have been this year and I love it more every time I go. Check out my previous post here and here, including a video tour! This time we went the weather was cooler, the pumpkins were out, and the Silo bakery was open for business. For any family wanting to visit here are my top 7 things to do when visiting Magnolia Market in the fall.
1. Play time on the lawn
I love the huge lawn they have in the center of the property. It’s great for the guys to play football, cornhole, or kick the soccer ball around with the kiddos while mom shops at the market. There is something for everyone, bean bag chairs to lounge in, swings for the kiddos, and dogs are also welcome! Jayden will wear himself out for hours if he could just playing football or soccer. He loves it!
1. Try the Local Food Trucks
I am obsessed with food trucks, and the idea of having so many choices and only walking distance away. I am a big fan of Co-Town Crepes. They have great healthy options plus some for your sweet tooth too! They recently just added the Silos Baking Co food truck as another option for cupcakes if you want to beat the lines at the cafe.
3. Visit the Farm Fresh Garden
This is one of the newest additions to the property, and it is a gardner’s dream come true. One day I would love a garden like this in my back yard. It is so beautiful filled with all types of plants and flowers. They even have their own shop specifically catered to gardening.
4. Take pictures at the pumpkin patch
Who can’t resist pumpkin patch pictures? I had to with my little guy! He is just a ham.
5. Shop and get inspired
You can’t go to Magnolia Market and not take a little something home with you. Last time I went I got a cute little inspirational wall decor for my office. Check out the post here. I love just going in there and getting inspired by all the cute things they have.
6. Grab a bite of something sweet
Stop by the Silos Baking Co., the sweetest addition to Magnolia Market. The cupcakes and cookies are to die for! It’s hard to choose one flavor. They also serve organic juices and milk for refreshments.
7. Take tons of pictures
This place is too beautiful not to take tons of pictures. Whether your blogging, a foodie, or love taking pictures with your family, there is always a picture perfect opportunity at Magnolia Market.
