Royal Wedding – This Princess Doesn’t Need Saving

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I am off to Austin for a fun event with Rewardstyle with a couple of my blogger friends, and I am so excited! I’ll be sharing more on Instastories so stay tuned! Today in light of the Royal Wedding this weekend I wanted to share this beautiful outfit for the future Princess bride to wear for her bridal shower, engagement party, or rehearsal dinner. I wore this gorgeous dress for only $60 on a TV segment with Good Day Houston with the prettiest Derby hat for Derby Day. You can view the segment here. I also wanted to share my thoughts on the future Royal wedding, and the lifetime movie based on their secret romance that had me in tears last night. Boy moms beware, it’s tear jerker. Read more below!

Blogging 101: The Truth About Having Interns + 3 Tips to Finding the Right One

Hey everyone! Hope you are having a great week!  Yesterday I had a fun mom’s night out watching an early screening of Life of the Party, and let me tell you it was non stop laughing in the theater. But it doesn’t surprise me at all considering Melissa McCarthy and Maya Rudolph are both in it. Those two are a hoot! It is definitely a must watch. Today I am sharing a requested post and sharing my experience about having interns. If you followed me on my journey, last year, I opened up my business and took in three interns for six months. This year I currently do not have any interns, and I am sharing why. Today I am sharing the truth about having interns and tips on how to find the right one for your business. Read more of my experience below.

Welcome to the Next Chapter – Thirty and Thriving

Today I officially turn thirty: Thirty and Thriving. I can’t believe how time flies. Never in a million years I would have imagined this is where my life would be. I never thought I would find a man who treats me like a Queen, or be a mom to the most wonderful little human in the world, and best yet to be able to pursue my dreams through blogging. In fact I didn’t even know what blogging was when I started this site. I started merely as a new mom trying to document and capture every moment of my new bundle of joy and the journey of motherhood. But today, three years later it has become so much more. I am beyond blessed in every way to be where I am today, to be surrounded by the most loving family and friends, and to be able to share this little passion project of mine and inspire others to be the best version of themselves. After a year of delving in the YouTube world and sharing little successes on the way, I am finally ready to tell my story. I hope you take the time to watch this three-minute video, and it would mean so much if you subscribed to my channel. My goal is to reach a thousand subscribers this year. Please help me make my dream come true. Thank you so much for following along with me on this journey and welcome to the next chapter. Read more of what I look forward to in my 30’s and never before seen family photos below!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Today I teamed up with Zappos X Easy Spirit to share my tips on dressing for success, tips I shared as a guest speaker for Phi Mu Fraternity at Houston Baptist last week. As a Phi Mu alumna I loved being able to connect with all the wonderful Phi Mu ladies and hopefully inspire them to be the best version of themselves. I remember my college days and the uncertainty that comes with trying to figure out who you are, what to study, and what you wanted to do after college. Dressing for success may not be a college course I took, but it was a valuable lesson I learned being part of Phi Mu. To this day it has been an integral part in what I do today as a lifestyle blogger. Check out my tips on dressing for success and how it keeps me moving and striving for my goals.
