Merry Christmas and Happy New Years 2025

Hi friends!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years 2025! Hope you are having a wonderful start to your New Year. It’s been a busy couple weeks for us with the holidays, being pregnant, and my husband being gone for weeks at a time as a Captain for his job. But I wanted to share our yearly Christmas card photos and share our message for the New Year. We have so much to be thankful for including finishing and moving into our new home. Plus baby number four will be arriving soon! Here is a recap of our past year below!

2024 Yearly Recap

2024 hasn’t been without its ups and downs with the death of Josh’s beloved grandmother, my third miscarriage and cancer scare earlier in the year, plus emergency gallbladder surgery! My health was definitely something I battled with earlier this year, so being able to have a healthy pregnancy has been a blessing. I don’t take any of it for granted.

Also with Josh’s new job he has been gone for weeks at a time, which honestly has been hard emotionally, but we are so thankful for all the help we have with our family and our neighbors while he has been gone. It has been harder physically with my pregnancy, but God has given me the strength to push through and I’m so thankful. I feel like superwoman some days lol!

We started home schooling Jayden in 2024 and it’s the best decision we have made. I feel like he is more challenged with the curriculum that we have for him, and I also get to have him home more. We also have a small homeschool community that we are so thankful for. Jayden is doing well in school, taekwondo, and is starting basketball for the first time this year. I don’t feel so bad when he does all these extracurricular activities because I don’t have to sacrifice the time he is with his family since he is homeschooled. We also have the best neighborhood kids that Jayden get’s to play with so he get’s tons of socialization. I’m so thankful we finally went the homeschool route, it has been the best thing for our family and Jayden.

The girls are doing well. Daisy had that second degree burn earlier this past year that we had to deal with, when hot water spilled on her at a restaurant. She has been a trooper through it all and has healed so well. She really is our sunshine baby and I’m so thankful she continues to thrive through adversity. Ella is as smart as can be, but also just as stubborn. We are in the process of potty training her and it has been a longer process than with Jayden. But we are making progress. I love her little personality though. She is too smart for her own good.

Happy New Years 2025!

SHOP OUTFITS:

Baby #4 Gender Reveal

Hi friends,

Today I am sharing this fun gender reveal we did with the kiddos. Let’s just say I was dead wrong with my mother’s intuition on this one. I thought we were having one gender, so I got everyone coordinating outfits to match the color I thought it would be. I couldn’t believe how wrong I was! Check out the full reveal below!

SHOP POST:

Ya’ll I can’t believe we will have another precious girl to add to our family. We are going to have our hands full! Jayden was hoping for a boy, but it seems as he will be the only boy in the family so far lol. The girls didn’t even care, all they cared about was the cake! Well on the plus side expect more cute mommy and me outfits coming soon with my cute little girlies!

Welcome to the Next Chapter – Thirty and Thriving

Today I officially turn thirty: Thirty and Thriving. I can’t believe how time flies. Never in a million years I would have imagined this is where my life would be. I never thought I would find a man who treats me like a Queen, or be a mom to the most wonderful little human in the world, and best yet to be able to pursue my dreams through blogging. In fact I didn’t even know what blogging was when I started this site. I started merely as a new mom trying to document and capture every moment of my new bundle of joy and the journey of motherhood. But today, three years later it has become so much more. I am beyond blessed in every way to be where I am today, to be surrounded by the most loving family and friends, and to be able to share this little passion project of mine and inspire others to be the best version of themselves. After a year of delving in the YouTube world and sharing little successes on the way, I am finally ready to tell my story. I hope you take the time to watch this three-minute video, and it would mean so much if you subscribed to my channel. My goal is to reach a thousand subscribers this year. Please help me make my dream come true. Thank you so much for following along with me on this journey and welcome to the next chapter. Read more of what I look forward to in my 30’s and never before seen family photos below!

First of all thank you Town of Frisco for all the wonderful activities and restaurants during our stay, and for Toyota for providing us a Toyota Sequoia for our trip. Turning Three – Family Goals 2018

Hey everyone!

Sorry I missed Wednesday’s post. With the snow day we had, and some really exciting news I had, it through me off schedule. But today is a special day because our little man turns three today! I cannot believe how time flies when you have kids. I just can’t believe how big Jayden is getting. This past year he has done tumbling, soccer, snowboarding, and currently in swimming, and next month he will start t-ball! This year will definitely be an active one for our little guy. He has so much energy, and he is such a team player. I am one proud momma to see my little guy grow up to be such a smart and sweet little boy. He amazes me everyday with everything he does, and he certainly pushes us to be the best parents we can be. This past month my husband and I went over some family goals we had for this New Year, and today on the blog I am sharing those goals with you plus our beautiful family pictures in Colorado! Can you believe this is a frozen lake behind us? Check out more below! Continue reading “Turning Three – Family Goals 2018”

If There is One Thing You Can Do to Help Us, Do This.

power of prayer, psalm 43:1, family pictures, high low maxi dress, off the shoulder maxi dress, beach family pictures, family photos, professional family photos

Hey guys so I had this really amazing post for you guys about tips of finding a family photographer,  and of course to share all of these beautiful family photos we took with Olya Helga Photography. But instead I wanted to share what is heavy on my heart lately.  As all of ya’ll know we have been going through a lot down here in Houston with the Hurricane Harvey after math and the flooding that came with it. If you have been watching my Instastories you know we have been unable to reach our family do to the streets being flooded. Family who live not even fifteen minutes away, and it is truly disheartening. But I think what is most disheartening is reading all the negative things people are saying about God’s word and towards the people who preach it. Would you believe me if I told you I was criticized and told I was insensitive because I attributed my family’s safety and our house not being flooded to the power of prayer and to the glory of God? I never thought in my life I would be criticized for my belief, and by a fellow Christian surprisingly, especially during this time where we need prayer the most.
