Hope you are having a great week! Today I wanted to share this easy $20 DIY Nursery changing table makeover I did for baby girl. I loved the idea of having a butterfly mirror but didn’t want to pay the price. So I did this easy $10 DIY for the mirror and another $10 for the upgraded drawer pulls for the dresser. Check out more of this DIY below!
For the nursery we bought this pretty DaVinci Baby dresser and this $50 round mirror. To customize the mirror I bought a pack of $6 butterfly stickers to put around it. I saw another blogger do this DIY and I thought it was such a great idea. The stickers aren’t permanent so when baby girl grows out of her nursery we can still use the mirror for whatever theme she likes.
For the dresser, I found these gold pulls for $9 to change out the original white nobs. I love how it pulls everything together. This changing table dresser is the perfect size for baby girls nursery.
I can’t wait to share the full nursery reveal. You can check out my Instagram highlight sharing my current progress of the nursery here. I hope you enjoyed this this easy $20 DIY Nursery changing table makeover I did for baby girl. Thanks for stopping by!
Hope ya’ll are doing well! Today I am sharing a fun an easy Back to School Teacher Gift Basket DIY. Tomorrow we will be dropping of Jayden’s school supplies as well as a teacher gift basket for his teacher. My mom is a teacher and I remember growing up the first days of school felt like Christmas. My mom would come home with the cutest goodies and gifts from her students and would share them with us. Coming from a family full of teachers I know how hard teachers work for their students and little things like this to show our appreciation can mean so much for them. Check out my teacher gift basket checklist and how I made this easy DIY gift basket.
Hope you are doing well! Today I am sharing a fun home project we did during quarantine, our china hutch makeover DIY. My dad pasted down to me his grandma’s old china hutch for my dining room. I’ve always loved the quality of antiques and older furniture especially when they have family history. This beautiful hutch has been in the family for over three generations and was still in great condition. I had been on a hunt for a year now for a china hutch that also doubled as a buffet/server for my dining room. When my dad showed me this beautiful piece that had been stowed in the garage for years now, I knew this was the one. It was a little outdated and didn’t fit my overall interior decor, so I decided to give it a little makeover. Check out our china hutch makeover DIY below!

Football season is the biggest season in Texas, next to summer of course. And with the kick off of our very own University of Houston Cougars beating Oklahoma this past weekend, this season is off to a great start. As a Houston Cougar alumni, and sorority girl at heart, game day fashion is a must. And I’ve learned a thing or two during my college sorority days about making inexpensive DIY Game Day dresses for a fun and affordable option to wear at football games. Check out my DIY dress below and how I accessorize it with these gorgeous rose gold pieces from Brian Gavin Diamonds. Stay tuned for the $500 giveaway below!

It’s been three months since we adopted our puppy Rotel, and he is the perfect addition to our growing family. Every morning there is nothing but laughter in our home with my little man and Rotel chasing each other around the house. Rotel is also Jayden’s ball assistant. Since my little man could hold a bat at the age of six months my hubby has been teaching him how to throw and hit a baseball. And now that we have Rotel in our family, he is always there to help fetch Jayden’s baseballs wherever he may hit or throw them. If you follow me on Snapchat you will see the amazing bond these two have. It makes me so happy to see our little man grow up with his best friend. Adopting a dog has been one of the best decisions of our life, and that’s why I have teamed up with Kroger and Purina to share with you a simple Welcome Home Doggy Gift Basket DIY to make your furry friend feel extra special and at home.
38 weeks and nesting. This week I was able to work on putting together Jayden’s temporary nursery at my parents house. My husband and I are still currently looking for a house and are considering possibly building a new home. We are fortunate to be able to stay rent free at my parents home until we find a more permanent solution. I wanted to share some pictures with you and a DIY craft I did that I found on Pintrest.
