Hope you are doing well! Can you believe it school is out and summer is already here! I have some fun girls trips plan this summer, but I wanted to share one of my favorite girls trip I took last month to the Hilton Sandestin. You know how much I love staying in the Sandestin area, and usually I go with my family. But this time around I decided to go with my girl friend Alley. It was a fun and much needed getaway. Check out more of what we did on our three day getaway below!
One thing I love about the Hilton Sandestin is it’s only a nine hour drive from Houston. It’s a fun and easy road trip to take with family or friends. We also love that it is so close to everything like Destin and 30A. But for this trip we honestly did not leave the hotel but once to go to the Wine Festival at Baytown Wharf. Hilton Sandestin had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing kid free mom trip right on the property.
For food check out Hilton’s onsite restaurants. Our favorite was the Barefoot Beachside Bar and Grill. We could not get enough of their amazing seafood and salads! It was honestly so good we went every day we were there. They also have a sushi bar, breakfast buffet, and an award winning steak house!
To relax, book a spa treatment at Serenity Spa, and spend the day relaxing in their jacuzzi, sauna, and gravity chairs. We did a 50 minute massage and it was so relaxing. Next time I would do the 90 minute massage because it is that good! We also slept in and enjoyed our very comfy ocean view suite. We loved taking naps and hearing the ocean waves outside.
When we weren’t eating or sleeping, we were hanging out at the beach. Hilton has an amazing beach front with rented chairs, and a beach bar. We thoroughly took advantage of the beach bar and their amazing drinks!
