Inside Magnolia Market + Video Tour

Last month my hubby and I took Jayden for a fun little weekend trip to Dallas to visit family. You can see that post here. Before we went to Dallas we made a pit stop to Magnolia Market in Waco. I am a big fan of Fixer Upper and I couldn’t wait to find me something to decorate my office. Last time we went the store was closed so we were only able to see the outside. They are closed Sunday’s so this time we went on Friday. It was a beautiful day when we went and the perfect opportunity for me to take a video tour of an inside look of Magnolia Market. Know Your Worth – A Tribute to Motherhood

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I want to address an issue that 99% of Mama’s are afflicted with on a daily, and that is “Mom’s guilt”. You know that feeling you get when you want to do something just for yourself (like going to the bathroom alone) but some how feel guilty for whatever reason it may be, because for some reason after you become a mom, personal privacy is a thing we can feel guilty about. So here’s to one day out of the year where we mom’s can shed the guilt and feel worthy of every selfish thing possible.

Can you believe it’s May already? I can’t believe how fast April flew by! We have Mother’s Day just around the corner and Cinco De Mayo coming up this week. Now it might just be a Texas thing, but Cinco De Mayo is another reason to celebrate, or at least have a margarita. This Saturday I reunited with some of my favorite blogger babes for our annual Blog Societies Brunch. The Blog Societies is one of many blog groups I am part of. It is a great community of bloggers from all over the country who share the same passion for blogging. As a blogger, one of my Top 10 Tips to Success for First Time Bloggers is to join blogger groups. Joining blogger groups helps you surround yourself with like-minded individuals, who are also working towards the same goals you are. It is a great way to make friends, ask for help, and to network with other bloggers. Without all my blogger friends I made along the way I would’t be where I am today. Happy Tuesday! Yesterday was tough trying to recooperate from a busy weekend! I celebrated my twenty eighth birthday this weekend, and I couldn’t be more thankful for all the love and support from my friends and family. Hilton Arlington

This past weekend my hubby and I had the opportunity to stay at the Hilton in Arlington. Josh is a huge Texas Rangers baseball fan and comes from a big baseball family. His Uncle is the manager of the Texas Rangers, so we try to make it up to Dallas once a year to visit family and watch the games. It was a fun weekend full of baseball and family, and we couldn’t have wanted anything more from our first road trip with Jayden. We were very thankful for our complimentary stay at the Hilton, and wanted to share our first family stay with you. The Hilton was very convenient for us because it was only minutes away from the ball park. It is also close to Six Flags, and the Dallas Cowboys stadium. Can you believe it in one month summer will be soon upon us, and I know what you are thinking bikini season! But who has time to go to the gym, juggle a career, work on a blog, and manage time with their family? I know I don’t! Trying to fit in time to go to the gym is nearly impossible. I use to be the biggest gym rat before I had Jayden, even worked out during my pregnancy, but after I had Jayden I realized it wouldn’t be that easy for me to go to the gym everyday. How to Rock Denim Short Overalls in the Summer

This weekend I’m looking forward to our annual family trip to Dallas to visit family and support the Texas Rangers. Since Josh’s Uncle got named the manager of the Ranger’s last year, we have become the biggest Texas Rangers fan in Houston. (P.S. We love the Astros too!) We are so excited to visit our family up there and take Jayden to watch the games. He went to his very first baseball game when he was 3 months old last year for opening day for the Rangers. One perk about this weekend, due to some amazing blogging opportunities, my hubby, our little guy, and I will be staying the weekend at the Hilton in Arlington, literally minutes from Globe Life Park.
