Can you believe it Halloween is just around the corner? Now that I am a mom, Halloween has become one of my favorite holidays of the year. I love dressing up with my little man and stock piling on candy for a year. My kid may not be old enough to eat candy yet, but this mama can sure fill up lol. This weekend Jayden and I have several Halloween parties and activities to go to, and we are so excited to dress up for everyone of them. It can get expensive dressing for two, and if you are a mom like me, you might have procrastinated when it comes to getting your costume. Hey guys what a week! I’ve been so busy trying to catch up and get ready for the weekend. We are headed to Dallas for a small weekend trip. I’m so excited that we will be stopping at Magnolia Market along the way and then staying at the Westin in Dallas. I love weekend getaways with my family. This weekend flew by. First, we bought a new vanity desk for my office. It was on sale for 20% off this weekend at Target, and it fit perfect with my whole office set up. You can see it here on my Instagram. And on Sunday, we had the privileged of attending to Octoberfest at the King’s Biergartin with VIP media passes. It was so much fun, and the food was amazing! We even got a souvenir beer glass! The weekend definitely flew by but thank goodness for Columbus day, and for having the hubs home early from work, because this Monday will be a lazy day in for our little fam bam.

The Best Blanket Scarves for Fall

What a busy weekend it was for us. We celebrated one of my best friend’s birthday who is also Jayden’s God mother. They just moved in their gorgeous new home down here, and we are so glad to have them back in Texas. We grew up together and have known each other since kindergarten. Can’t believe that was 23 years ago! This weekend has also been amazing because of the cooler weather. I can’t believe it is already October and that means pumpkin everything! I’m already contemplating what we should be for Halloween this year. Any ideas? We are leaning towards a Star Wars theme this year. This past month after stepping down from managing full time at Buckle to working part time, I decided to make more of a focus on my fitness. For the longest time I was not happy with how my body was. Last year after loosing all my baby weight and getting back to where I was before the baby I put fitness on the back burner. For a whole year I did not go to the gym, rather did at home work outs when I could. I was constantly busy with juggling being a mom and growing my business with blogging, I didn’t have time to eat right or go to the gym. I started to loose my muscles and my curves. It wasn’t until I could no longer fit into adult sizes that I started to realize how small I had gotten. Shopping isn’t fun when you have to shop in the kid section. Finally I knew I had to make a change.
