Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today I am sharing a perfect transition look from Winter to Spring, or if you live in Houston where the weather changes daily. When I wore this outfit to brunch with my interns last week it was sixty degrees outside but by the time we were done with brunch it was close to eighty degrees! Luckily I had one of my favorite transitional sweaters that worked well with the indecisive weather. Last month I had the privilege to stay at the brand new all-inclusive Dreams Playa De Mujeres Resort. I was there for a girl’s weekend and our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff went out of their way to make our girls weekend extra special so I though I would share my travel diaries with you! It was a wonderful relaxing getaway for this mama, and for my first experience in Mexico, I couldn’t have imagined anything more beautiful. Next time when I come back I will be definitely be taking my hubby and little man with me. The Dreams Playa De Mujeres Resort is not only a great place for a girls trip, but the perfect resort for families. These past couple of weeks ago we celebrated Jayden his second birthday bash. Going off his love for Thomas the Train, we decided to do a Rustic Railroad birthday party for our little man. Thankfully with the help of Shindigz, what would normally would be a stressful time for this mama, was one of the easiest and most creative, and not to mention fun party, we had for the little guy. We didn’t have to worry about scouring different party stores for all of our decor needs, instead we went online and ordered tons of personalized party decor for Jayden’s birthday from Shindigz and had it shipped directly to our home. Live Colorfully – Am I My Sister’s Keeper? #MyReelMoment

“To live colorfully is to carry yourself with vibrancy and warmth, and to share it in your own unique way. Speak in shades of silver and ink, paint blues with a brush or a song. When a friend of mine asked if I could write about the ReelAbilities Film Festival happening in Houston, I immediately said yes. Growing up with a sister with disabilities I knew the importance of an organization like this in helping raise awareness about people with disabilities, and to eliminate barriers to accessibility in all aspects of life. But when she asked me to share #MyReelMoment how a disability or mental health issue has impacted the life of you or a person you know, I didn’t know how emotional it would be for me to share my story until now. This post is in no way shape or form sponsored, but I want to share this story because this is a big part of me, a big reason why I am the person I am today, and why I stand up for protecting the basic rights for all, not just in our country but those who are facing persecution today.
