Weekend At the Westin in the Woodlands

This weekend my hubby and I had the privileged to stay the night at the new Westin in the Woodlands. We were so excited to have a little weekend getaway from home and have some much-needed adult time to ourselves. I loved the area, because we were still only an hour away from home and from our little guy. Plus the hotel is brand new and next to all the latest restaurants, bars, and shopping, we could walk anywhere.

If you haven’t been to the Westin on the Waterway then this is the hotel to stay at on your next visit to the Woodlands or Parents Night Out. The hotel has a modern appeal and all the rooms are equipped with spacious bathrooms and oversized massage showers. We loved the convenience of the river walk, a great scenic route from our hotel to the best restaurants and bars in the area. Or if you didn’t want to venture out too far, the hotel has a beautiful two-story bar and lounge with a gorgeous poolside view.

During the day we ate lunch at the gorgeous Current restaurant in the hotel. The chef inspired menu is wonderfully crafted and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The jumbo lump crab cake is to die for. If you are there, ask for Bess. She was our server, and an absolute sweetheart.

My hubby and I really enjoyed the exceptional service at the Westin, and we highly recommend it to anyone planning to stay in the area. It was very convenient for our collaboration with Nordstrom. We were walking distance from the mall and so we didn’t have to worry about fighting the traffic.
