It’s officially September and that means our fall front porch decor is here at our home. I have been looking forward to decorating our front porch in our new home. There were so many good Labor day sales for fall decor so I stocked up on all the fake realistic pumpkins. Check out how I styled our fall front porch below!
I love how our fall porch turned out. Simple yet classic. The perfect touch of fall for any home and affordable too. I got most everything on sale so that was a plus. What do you guys think?

Today I am sharing this fun gender reveal we did with the kiddos. Let’s just say I was dead wrong with my mother’s intuition on this one. I thought we were having one gender, so I got everyone coordinating outfits to match the color I thought it would be. I couldn’t believe how wrong I was! Check out the full reveal below!
SHOP POST:
Ya’ll I can’t believe we will have another precious girl to add to our family. We are going to have our hands full! Jayden was hoping for a boy, but it seems as he will be the only boy in the family so far lol. The girls didn’t even care, all they cared about was the cake! Well on the plus side expect more cute mommy and me outfits coming soon with my cute little girlies!

Surprise! We are expecting baby number four! I can’t believe it. Especially since we will have three under three! We are going to have our hands full. We have been keeping this secret all summer long. I found out I was pregnant early June right after moving. It was an unexpected surprise especially with everything going on, having a previous miscarriage in January, and emergency gallbladder surgery in April. But we are thankful for this blessing and can’t wait to add another little one to our family. Check out these beautiful pregnancy announcement photos we took at our neighborhood park.
SHOP OUTFITS:
Thankful for this growing family of mine. It’s been a crazy whirlwind of a year but we trust in God’s timing. We know this won’t be easy but it will be worth it. Can’t wait to share the gender soon!

SHOP POST:
My sweet little babies. Thankful for each one of them. Happy birthday to my sweet Daisy girl. We love you so much!
I am so excited to share with you our kitchen family command center DIY. I created this space because we didn’t have a space in our kitchen for our magnets since our refrigerator is fully paneled in a refrigerator cabinet. I wanted a space for our family calender, weekly menu, and kids chore chart. This kitchen family command center was super easy to do, and an inexpensive DIY. Check out the step by step below!
First we pasted this magnetic dry erase chalkboard sheet we got from Amazon. Then we got this PVC trim from Home Depot and cut it to frame the sheet. I painted the trim to match the color of our cabinets which is Ashwood by Benjamin Moore.
After the paint dried I used clear construction adhesive to glue the frame on the wall. I then used small round velcro strips to secure these magnetic calendars to the wall. Unfortunately the magnet was not strong enough to hold to the sheet, but the velcro worked perfectly! We also got this cool chore chart for the kiddos too!

This Kitchen Family Command Center was an easy and inexpensive DIY that helps us stay organized as a family. Plus the kiddos love playing with the magnets. It’s a great solution if you have a paneled refrigerator. Let me know what you think!
Hope you are doing well! Today I wanted to share details of Daisy’s first birthday. We had an intimate celebration with our family and really played into the Daisy theme. We wanted to keep it simple and easy so we did all the decor ourselves. Check out the details below.
Today I am so excited to share, one of my favorite rooms in our new home, Daisy’s secret garden nursery. It is the nursery of my dreams! I love the grand millennial flare with french accents and my favorite color yellow. It was only fitting to have a room full of flowers for my Daisy girl. I just feel like this nursery fits her personality perfectly. Check out more details of this nursery below!
How cute is Daisy? She is just the happiest smiliest babe. As you can see below we used this beautiful chinoiserie wallpaper mural to add picture frame panels in her room. We bought this trim and added it around the wallpaper for the the finished look. For the rug, I found this eight foot round ruglast minute after several rectangular rugs just didn’t look right in in her room. This rug was the perfect addition in the nursery and it is washable too! For the curtains I found the cutest daisy curtain holders that added the perfect little detail to her window treatments.
The crib, glider, and dresser were passed down from Ella’s nursery and it worked perfectly in Daisy’s room. It was a great investment that has lasted me with multiple babies.

I love how this secret garden nursery turned out. It was a labor of love and everything I could have dreamed of. There is nothing that makes me happier than coming in the morning and seeing Daisy’s smiling face in her crib. Since she has been sleeping in this room, she has slept so good and sleeps twelve hours just like her sister next door. I can’t wait to do Ella’s big girl room next!

Hope you are having a great week! Today I am sharing our intimate family celebration Tea Party for Two for Ella’s second birthday. We did the decor and the food ourselves and I loved how it turned out. Not going to lie I did stay up till 3am one night to do the balloon garland, but it was well worth it. Check out more of our Tea Party for Two DIY below!
For the decor I used my own antique tea sets as flower vases and a tea cup as a cake topper. I also bought this inexpensive cheesecloth runner to add to our kitchen island. For the serving trays I reused these serving trays I’ve had for years. They are inexpensive and a great investment if you like to host. I also found this pretty Happy Birthday burlap bannerfor under $10!
For the food I made these individual charcuterie cups that were a hit. I felt it would be easier for self serve than a traditional cheese board. We also had traditional tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts!

I love how the balloon garland turned out and the floral number two in our entry way for her Tea Party for Two. It was the perfect picture backdrop. We really enjoyed hosting our family for our first birthday celebration and look forward to having many more!
Hope you are doing well. Today I wanted to share one of my first DIY in our new home, an easy faux lime wash DIY paint I did for my son’s bathroom. I really wanted his room to have a spa like vibe so I thought a little lime wash would give his bathroom walls subtle dimension that would create a relaxing atmosphere. After googling lime wash paint, I really didn’t want to have to wait for the lime wash paint to come, plus it was way more expensive than paint. It just wasn’t as readily available, and was a much longer process that I thought it would be.
So being the impatient person that I am, I decided to Pinterest some different alternatives and saw this easy tutorial. Basically it would cut half the time and cost less than regular lime wash paint. Here is everything you need for this DIY tutorial.
First you will want tape off any edges that you don’t want to get paint on.
Using the darker color paint first, use the wide brush to paint in a X motion on the wall. It is ok to leave unpainted spots on the wall. You will go over that with a second color.
After the first paint has dried, use the lighter color and repeat the step above painting with an X motion.
Once it is dried you will get the results below. A lime wash look for the half the price and time.
I’m really happy with how this DIY turned out. I can’t actually believe how good it looks. I hope this tutorial helps you in your future lime wash paint DIY. Check out more home post here! Thanks for stopping by!

Can’t believe I have a two year old yall! The last time we had a two year old was seven years ago when Jayden turned two. Just to think she was one a year ago, and now we have a very active two years old! This girl has more personality than anyone I know. It is night and day how much she has grown. She loves to talk, read books, and push boundaries. This girl is very determined and a great problem solver. Let’s just say there isn’t anything I’ve said No to that she hasn’t found a way around. She is too smart for her own good. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was gifted just like her brother.
This girl keeps me on my toes and exhausted running after her, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. This stage is my favorite minus the diapers, but we will be potty training her soon now that we are moving into our new house. I love watching her little personality grow. I definitely see a lot of me in her. This girl is going to be a go getter, and one tough cookie. She might be rebellious her teenage years but I’m ready lol. Girl is just like her mama. Here are a few of her favorite things below.
Same dress, one year apart. I can’t believe how much she has grown and changed. My sweet little girlie.
5 Things Ella LOVES At Two:
Cats – Yes she is like her mama, she loves her kitties and can’t get enough of them. We are still working on her gentle touch but I definitely see her being a cat lady like her mama.
Sweets – How many times I’ve put sweets away, only to find her on the counter or table with her mouth full of pie, brownies, or cookie. This girl has a sweet tooth like me and her daddy. She loves to eat, and it makes me so happy. She is the type of eater that when the food is good she eats with her eyes close and does a little dance lol.
Books – I think we have another reader on our hands like her bubba. She loves reading and at night puts herself to sleep reading books in her crib.
Ms. Rachel – Ella only watches one thing in our house and it’s Ms. Rachel. She loves her and learns so much from her. She knows all of her songs, phrases, and loves repeating anything Ms. Rachel says. And if we are having a bad day Ms. Rachel always knows how to calm her down.
Stuff animals – This girl loves stuff animals. She loves sleeping with them, carrying them everywhere, playing with them, and cuddling and kissing them. I can see her as a future animal lover like me. She is going to make the best farm girl.
My beautiful little Ella. Thankful to be your mamma and watch you grow. Here’s to the best year yet!

Hope you are doing well! I can’t believe our sweet little Daisy is nine months already. Where has time gone. It get’s harder and harder to keep up with the monthly progress with three kids and building a custom home. But I want to document as much as I can of my babies. Daisy is just the happiest babe who loves to smile and laugh. She even rivals her big sister Ella in screaming matches lol. She is currently eating solid foods on her own and crawling. I can’t believe we are already at this stage. I remember with my first wishing to be the first in all the milestones, and now I just want her to slow down and take her time.
I’m so thankful and blessed to have such a perfect little babe. I know I say that about every one of my children, but I truly believe God made them perfect exactly as they are. And I am just blessed to be there mother.

Hope you are having a great week! This past week has been crazy. I turned 36 two weeks ago, and then I ended up having emergency gallbladder removal only a couple days after. I ended up staying in the hospital for six days for recover. It was unexpected but I am glad I am home and recovering. The doctors say it’s the number one emergency surgery they do, and that it is very common in women. I just never thought it would happen to me. But now that I am getting older I am just even more thankful for having another year with my babies. A couple weeks ago we had a fun family outing and Josh took these photos of me and my matching dresses with the girls. I am obsessed with this dress. It makes me want to take a trip to France with the family again. I can’t get over how cute the girls are. Check out the full look below.

Snapshot from our fun family day at the beach. So thankful and blessed for my beautiful family. I can’t ask for anything more for my birthday because they are the greatest gifts God has given me. I know these recent health scares have been made me more appreciative of the time I have on this Earth. You never know how much time you really have, but I trust in God’s plans for me.
