The Perfect Floral Skirt for Summer

This past weekend I attended my dear friend Brittany from Hello Honey Blog’s one year blog anniversary. She is one of my favorite mommy blogger and one of the most beautiful girls inside and out. At the party I wore this beautiful summer skirt from Forever 21. I love Forever 21 because of the prices, and they always have smaller sizes for petite women like me. Even though I’m several years over 21, it’s still one of my favorite places to find cute fashionable items for less! Check out how I styled this perfect floral skirt for summer.

How fun is this skirt! It makes you want to twirl around and do the Angelina! Show of that leg girl! 😉 I ordered this split full length skirt in an extra small. I wore it higher above my belly button,  so I wouldn’t step on it with my heels. I am only 5’2”, and when you are on the shorter side like me, wearing it above your waist a great way to wear a full length skirt. Plus you can pair it up with a crop top when it sits higher above your waist.  One of my favorite thing I love about this skirt is its versatility. I love how I can pair it with so many different tops, and dress it up like I did here, or dress it down and wear it as a cover up to a pool party (Future post coming soon!).  My top is actually a dress! I wore it as a cover up in this post. I’m all about finding multiple ways to wear your clothes, and this is one trick that most people don’t know about.  

How adorable are these shoes? Last year it was a new trend that became popular with Aminah Abdul Jillil.  So when I saw these on sale from Betsy Johnson, I had to have them. Plus they are so much fun and the perfect pink for summer! They don’t have the pink anymore so I linked a similar one in red below.

These yellow earrings are one of my favorite tassel earrings for summer. Yellow is my favorite color, so when I found these, I knew I had to have them. Plus it ties in really well with all the other vibrant colors in my outfit, and my gold monogrammed necklace, and cuff from Kendra Scott.

This yellow Guess purse is a staple in my wardrobe this summer. I love the gold chain, and tassel details. I also wore this at another blogger event here. This purse is not online so I linked a similar style below,
