This weekend my family and I took a fun weekend trip to Dallas to visit family and support the Texas Rangers. If you were following my Snapchat, then you saw  I was wearing this Floral Bell Sleeve Kimono this weekend. I am all about comfort and looking cute when it comes to road trips, and this kimono was the perfect layering piece for this weekend’s trip.

I love light weight kimonos like this for the summer because it is the perfect layering piece to keep you cool during those hot summer days, but also keeps you  warm on those cold road trips in your car.

This past weekend I attended my dearest friend, sister, PIC, and fellow Houston Blogger Style the Girl‘s baby shower. I was so excited to share this moment with her and all her dear friends and family to honor her little girl Sofia Everly. It was everything you would imagine a little girl’s baby shower would be, filled with pink, lace, and all things shabby chic. As her Phi Mu sister we were excited to welcome the first legacy in our group of friends.
