Last weekend we were fortunate to stay at the Hotel Sorella CITYCENTRE for Mother’s Day weekend. It was truly a 5 star experience. I couldn’t have asked for anything more for Mother’s Day. I didn’t have to cook, or clean, and I sleep in as late as I wanted in the most comfortable bed ever. Now isn’t that all we really want for Mother’s Day?
The suite we stayed in was a two bedroom, two bath penthouse suite on the 12th floor. Our view overlooked the pool and the plaza. When we first walked into our suite we were taking back by how gorgeous and spacious it was. There was a private sitting room to our left that led to one of the bathrooms, and to the right was a modern kitchen with a fully stocked fridge. The suite also included a dining room with a big full length mirror, and a living room with a gorgeous view to the balcony. There is a hallway that leads to the common bathroom and second bedroom, and at the end of the hallway leads to the master suite. There is a TV in every room including the living room. The master suite is huge. The closet itself could have been a bedroom. I was most taken back by the master bathroom. The tub was big enough it could have been a mini pool. It was perfect for me and my hubby to end a romantic kid free night off with a glass of wine and bubbly. 😉 Check out the pictures of our suite below. Our master suite is not pictured but you can see it in our video tour below!

The hotel was perfectly located in the heart of CityCentre. We were walking distance from all of our favorite restaurants and stores. We even had a kid free night and saw Captain America at the Studio Grill located right next to the hotel. The pool area is on the second floor and has complimentary cabanas and towels for the guest. We took Jayden there and he love it. At night the pool lights up different colors, and on the weekend they have a live band at the bar adjacent to the pool.

How adorable is this monogrammed Floppy Hat and wine cup from Marley Lilly?

During our stay we were given complimentary lunch and dinner and some of the best places to eat in CityCentre, and only walking distance from our hotel. Our first day we ate at the Sweet Paris for lunch. It was absolutely delicious, and I love nothing more than having the choice to eat dessert for lunch for Mother’s Day weekend.

The following day for Mother’s Day Ruggles Green hosted us for brunch. I’ve always been such a big fan of Ruggles, and if you’ve never been you will want to try their famous Bread Pudding. It is to die for! Seriously I couldn’t choose between the desserts so I ordered three! The bread pudding, creme brûlée, and the marble chocolate cake. Can you tell I have a major sweet tooth?! After this outing I was in a sugar coma, but it was well worth it.
Last but not least, Saturday night we had the most amazing complimentary dinner at the Radio Milano. My hubby and I are were able to drop of Jayden with my parents so we could have an adult night to ourselves. Radio Milano was definitely one of the nicest fine dining experience we ever had. We had the honor of having the general manager Doug present us with some of the best wine pairings with each course of our meal. I’m not much of a wino, just a Moscato, white zifandale type of girl, but it was definitely a treat to be educated and have my senses exposed to so many delicious varieties. My hubby and I felt like we were kings and queens that night. If you followed my Snapchat @dawnpwinston you would have seen the full menu, and the delicious four-course meal we were treated too. If you have never been there, it is a treat, and the perfect date night restaurant.
I just love this guy. P.S. We didn’t even plan to match, and we ended up matching lol.
This weekend at the Hotel Sorella was one for the books. As a momma I never felt more pampered, and spoiled than I did this weekend with my boys. It was truly a treat for our family to have such a five star experience. Since I was a kid, I have always dreamed of traveling, and becoming a food critic. But after watching Ratatouille, I didn’t think I could ever be so critical about food, because honestly I love food, and all types! But now that I have become a blogger, I’ve realized my dream has come true, but with a more positive outlook. I love being able to be treated at restaurants and hotels in exchange for my honest review. I never thought in my wildest dreams I would be getting to do the opportunities I am doing now. And I am so thankful for God for giving me this opportunity to share it with my family, and with all of you. I hope you stay tuned and watch my video tour below, and if you like it please subscribe to my youtube channel.
Thanks again for all of your support! Thank you Hotel Sorella, Radio Milano, Sweet Paris, and Ruggles Green for hosting us this weekend. We really appreciate it!
