As our family expands it’s more important to me to be intentional with one on one dates with my kiddos. I know how much it means to them to have undivided attention from their mommy and daddy. I want them to feel special and loved in their own unique way, whether it’s going to the park, or getting ice cream. Whatever they want to do without having to worry about what their siblings want to do. How do you make intentional time with each of your kiddos? #parentinghacks

Excited for this new season in our life. I prayed about this so much as a mother and God has called me to be a teacher for my son this year. Now that the time has come I’m so thankful for this opportunity and for this time with my son. To invest in him and teach him as God has called me to do. I’ve seen so many videos of young women sharing their qualifications for men they would date, and many started with how much they had to make, what type of job they had etc. I promise you as someone who married for ten years and we didn’t have a penny to our name in the beginning, non of that matters if they aren’t a good person to begin with. If they don’t put God first, they won’t value you or put you and your family first. Don’t be easily tempted by society’s standards of what a good partner is because that will always change, but the Bible won’t. Marriage is hard, don’t settle for someone who doesn’t value you and see you as God sees you.

Yesterday was our 10th anniversary, and with recent tragic events that happened in my husbands line of work it could have been our last. But God was watching over my husband, and I’m thankful he is home safe with us. I can’t imagine my life without him. He is my best friend, the best husband and father to our children. God’s greatest gift he has given me is my husband, without him I would not have the life or our beautiful children we have today. Thankful for every day I’ve had with my husband and I pray I will have a lifetime more with him by my side. 💛🙏🏽
