A morning in my life solo parenting 22 weeks pregnant with 3 kiddos and two toddlers. Getting out and staying active with my kiddos has been so crucial in staying healthy in this pregnancy. Plus a little endorphins and Vitamin D makes everyone in a better mood for the day. It’s not easy having my hubby gone for weeks at a time but my kiddos are my motivation and I’m thankful to be healthy and be their mama. 💛🙏🏽 #momlife

As someone who has experienced loss, near death birth, and the idea I may never have any more children again, there’s not a day that goes by that I'm not thankful to be carrying this miracle growing inside me. 22 weeks and already half way through this pregnancy. Everyday I am healthy and able to carry this sweet girl inside me is a blessing. God truly works miracles everyday. Being a mother has changed me in so many ways, but most of all it’s brought be closer to God. I never understood his love until then. I didn’t get how someone could love me regardless of all my imperfections. But God doesn’t see us as imperfect. We are in his image perfectly made. Just like when we love our child, our children are perfectly made just as they are. For those who have experienced miscarriages or infertility I feel you. There will always be a sense of worry and anxiety after having a loss. Sometimes things don’t always work out the way we want them and sometimes our children are called back to our father before we even meet them. I know my children are not mine alone but they are his. It is an honor to be blessed with one of God’s children to raise and cherish, whether through birth, adoption, or marriage. God hears us and he has a plan for us. His plans will always be greater than our wants.

Sometimes God’s plans has a funny way of humbling us and making us stronger. This year has been full of blessings but a lot of trials and obstacles as well. Sometimes to get where we need to be we have to get through the sh*t first. God didn’t take every obstacle out of Moses’s path to get him to the promise land but he got him through it. Being a Christian doesn’t mean our lives are going to be easy. Sometimes it’s through the hardships and suffering that builds our faith stronger. Trusting in God’s plans means trusting him through the hard and difficult times just as much as we trust him during the good. 💛🙏🏽 #trustingodsplan

One thing about homeschooling is the freedom to choose the curriculum you want to teach your child. Jayden struggled being challenged in school because he is very gifted. He would finish his work early and just read history books the rest of his class in public school. So when picking out a curriculum for Jayden I knew I wanted something faith based, something challenging, and something that would promote independent learning. We ended up doing the classical Christian curriculum for Jayden. I’ve seen Jayden grow in so many ways including being challenged in the curriculum, but I also love that if he does master something quickly we can moved on to more challenging things instead of him being bored in class. It’s been very rewarding being his teacher! Do you homeschool or have you thought about homeschooling? #homeschoollife
