Happy 3 Year Anniversary!

Today marks our 3rd year anniversary. As I sit here righting this post in our little beach cottage, while the boys are peacefully sleeping, I realize more and more the blessings of marriage God has put in our lives. I couldn’t imagine my life without Josh, without our little man, and all the memories we have created together in these short years. I am so thankful God blessed me with a man like Josh. He is patient, he is kind, he is everything the scripture says when describing love.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Today since we are still on vacation I am sharing some never before seen pictures of our vacation to celebrate our life together. If you are new here on the blog make sure to read our love story here.

This Valentine’s weekend marks our first weekend trip by ourselves without our little guy. We will be celebrating Valentine’s day, and also our marriage surviving our first year as parents. We’re having a boy!

This last Wednesday we found out we are having a boy. Both Josh and I guessed it, and I had an inclination from the beginning it would would be a boy. We are so excited! I wasn’t ready to share my crown yet with a little girl, because I knew she would come out just as spoiled as me.

For our gender reveal we decided to do balloons, and for our party we did little monster cupcakes. Here are some photos of our gender reveal.
