So it’s been a month since Jayden has been diaper free and accident free at night. We have officially transitioned into underwear, no training pants, no pull ups for a month, and since last week no more baby potty. Jayden has full transitioned using the full size toilet at home and using public restrooms . We are so proud of our little man, especially since he has started swim lessons, no swim diapers either!

This past weekend we celebrate our little guy’s first birthday. It took a month of planning a preparing but we pulled it off. Even with the rain it was a great party, and our little guy had so much fun with all of his family and friends there to help him celebrate. Here are some money saving DYI from his Little Man’s First Birthday bash. You can follow me on Pinterest for more of my DIY party inspirations.

Recently, I’ve noticed actresses like Hayden Patinierre and Drew Barrymore opening up about their expriences with Postpartum depression. It’s something that is not really talked about because of the negative stigma behind it. When I first learned about postpartum depression it was a big controversy surrounding the Andrea Yates Case when she drowned her 5 children. I never really comprehended the issue, and still couldn’t believe how that was a thing, until I became a mom.

Like most mom’s I want the best for my child, especially when it comes to what I am feeding him. I’m a big advocate in making baby food, not only because of the health benefits with less preservatives, but also because you save tons of money by doing so. An individual container of baby food cost at least $1.50. If you feed your baby 3 times a day for a whole month it would cost you roughly $126.

I know I’ve mentioned it a couple times in my previous post so I wanted to explain it you. I never knew about it until I became a mom. It’s an exclusive diet only mothers would know about, and only mothers can relate to.

Woot! Woot! What a milestone! Our little man is one month and we survived as parents. I can’t believe how much he has grown! Packed on almost 3 lbs since his birthday. This boy loves to eat, fart, and make funny faces. He is advanced in his motor skills, kicking, grabbing, and holding his head up. It was a crazy whirlwind of a month with many challenges, but in the end we couldn’t be more thankful for our healthy growing boy.
